چکیده
The aim of the current study is to determine virulence genes E. faecalis and polymorphism in these bacteria. A total 300 females who visited outpatient clinics Maternity Pediatrics Teaching Hospital Al-Diwaniya city, Iraq were enrolled. For twenty isolates that showed dense growth when cultured on specified culture media, then sensitivity antibiotics was tested, determined for each isolate, where results shown there are statistically significant differences (P<0.05) presence tested bacterial isolates. (where genetic analysis by PCR all genes, except isolate 3 gene esp (Enterococcal surface production protein), 11, 12, 15, 16 19 hly (haemolysin production). ERlC most share a DNA segment length 1500, 1000 bp, 2000 pb. curve also shows lack 500 As pieces 700, 600 400 they very high heterogeneity between ln conclusion, responsible factors positive, hly, which positive nearly more than half isolates, said bacteria major focus infection bacteria, if not available, unable hit or stick vagina. There two types strains, one caused horizontal transmission strains via plasmids other methods, vertical through mutations occur generations, causing resistance some antibiotics. vitality.

Antibiogram analysis and tracking of the virulence-related genes in Enterococcus faecalis isolates
Background and Aim: Enterococcus species are opportunistic pathogens and their pathogenicity seems to be related to the presence of a number of pathogenicity genes. Since donkey’s milk is a new non-allergenic source of nutrition, this study was performed to assess the antibiogram and detection of pathogenicity genes in some Enterococcus faecalis isolates from donkey’s milk. Materials and Method...
متن کاملWide Distribution of Virulence Genes among Enterococcus faecium and Enterococcus faecalis Clinical Isolates
Enterococcus, a Gram-positive facultative anaerobic cocci belonging to the lactic acid bacteria of the phylum Firmicutes, is known to be able to resist a wide range of hostile conditions such as different pH levels, high concentration of NaCl (6.5%), and the extended temperatures between 5(°)C and 65(°)C. Despite being the third most common nosocomial pathogen, our understanding on its virulenc...
متن کاملCharacteristics of and Virulence Factors Associated with Biofilm Formation in Clinical Enterococcus faecalis Isolates in China
Enterococcus faecalis biofilm traits and distribution characteristics in China have not been clarified. This study aimed to determine the prevalence and characteristics of E. faecalis biofilm formation in a sample of clinical isolates and to explore the virulence factors associated with biofilm formation in those isolates. A total of 265 E. faecalis isolates were collected from patients in Shen...
متن کاملEffects of Enterococcus faecalis fsr genes on production of gelatinase and a serine protease and virulence.
Three agr-like genes (fsrA, fsrB, and fsrC, for Enterococcus faecalis regulator) were found upstream of the previously reported gelatinase gene (gelE) and a downstream putative serine protease gene (sprE; accession number Z12296) of Enterococcus faecalis OG1RF. The deduced amino acid sequence of fsrA shows 26% identity and 38% similarity to Staphylococcus aureus AgrA (the response regulator of ...
متن کاملDoes CMV infection impact the virulence of Enterococcus faecalis?
Renal transplant (RTx) recipients are at a high risk of infection caused by commensal bacteria. Apart from immunodeficiency resulting from the use of immunosuppression, RTx patients often suffer from various urological malformations, increasing susceptibility to infections. In the early phase after renal transplantation, when patients are exposed to the most intense immunosuppression and entero...
